Greetings from North Carolina! Spring has sprung here in the south - lovin' it. I've got two little "mom & pop" businesses going on as I head into retirement. One is pet sitting and the other is dog poop cleanup - www.doggiedungsquad.com My husband and I love working together. I've been reminiscing a lot lately ... hmmm.

Hello to all my classmates. Spring has finally sprunk here in Virgina Beach, VA. They are talking 70/80's for the weekend. Well, how is every one from our class doing. No body leaves even a short message saying "HI" I know we have more than one or two members out there. At the last reunion we had 50. Bob indicats there are several still meeting monthly in Norwood. Ha anyone herd from ar about Eileen Graney? I talked to her last around New Years 1967. There are still several more we hear nothing from, Maureen Joy, Kenny Joseph, Pam Howard, Elaine Connolly or Maureen Flaherty to name a few. If anyone wants to talk about life since NSHS please feel free to write. Gbolis@aol.com

I want to thank all of you who have sent condolences, called, or visited on the occasion of my mother's passing. Although we may meet infrequently, we come together to support each other in times of crisis. I feel blessed by your friendship. You are truly the friends of my heart. Love to you all.

Did anyone happen to read this week's Parade Magazine (9/28/2008) and notice the picture of Norwood Senior High School?  It was embedded in an article by James Grady describing his return to his hometown of Shelby, Montana for a class reunion.  Where did they get the picture of NHS?  The Parade is headquartered in NYC and is distributed with over 440 newspapers nationwide.  Why?   Does someone at Parade have a connection with Norwood?   Maybe one of you townies can fill us in.

Received the message tonight about the passing of Maureen Rukstails' mother. My mother passed away November 5, 2006 and I have some true feelings of how you might feel right now. Maureen, I send you my deepest condolences and heart felt sympathy. All you have to remember is, she is in god's hands. The day before my mom's passing she asked everyone in the family, "Who is tha man sitting in the corner reading a book?" We never did see the man reading to her, but our priest said he was there. You have to believe in your god and remember your religious training.

How I wish I could join you please say hi to all would love to know how everyone is/what everyone is doing all is well here in Charlotte.  Ken and I are leaving in October for a three week cruise through New Zealand and Australia to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, and we are really looking forward to it.  We now have three grandchildren, including Lucy Elizabeth, born November 2 last year, the first child of our youngest son, Jeff, and his beautiful wife, Beth, both lawyers, who live 3 hours from here in Atlanta.  The other two grandchildren belong to our oldest son, Eric, and his wife, Denise, who live just 7 miles from us.  The newest picture of Lucy is attached, along with the most current picture of our fun boxer puppy, Abby.

    Hope you are all well

I just discovered the class of 65 homepage and tried--unsuccessfully--to add my info. I was sorry to have missed the January reunion. The photos were terrific. I am living in Gettysburg, PA with my husband Jim who recently retired from 40 years in the news business. Our family, in addition to daughter Kerry who lives in Seattle with soon-to-be son-in-law Steve, includes a cat, two dogs, four Nubian goats and two Morgan horses. I work at Gettysburg College and love living in southeastern PA. My parents are still in Norwood and so I am a regular visitor. I'd love to hear from one and all at jlindqui@gettysburg.edu Best, Judith Lindquist

Any feed from the January mini reunion. I hope ya'll had as much fun re meeting old friends like I did. Some people don't remember me a bit, then several remember me very well. Alan Deeb remembered me as the guy who grew up across the street, played the accordion and went to the same Syrian Church together in the flats. I doubt if anyone remembered I played and started freshman football for Big Ed who passed away in 1981/1982. Ahhh, split sessions, football practice frist thing in the morning and class from 12:30 on. We were a lucky group of Freshman to say the very least. John Gardner, Cuz, if you are out there keep in touch.

Hi There, I wish I could have been at the reuion, but we moved to North Carolina just the weekend before the reunion. We're loving the south, the improved weather, and the slower pace of life. I was thinking of you and enjoyed seeing the pictures here online today. My husband and I are here with our two grand-dogs. Our kids are all in their thirties with two married and they are all in New England.

I want to say thank you for all the work that made the 40th reunion an enjoyable experience. I have done simular work in the past and know how difficult it can be at times. I had a great time and my guest, Karen Johnson Puglia, had as much fun as I did. Although she was in the class of 67, she seemed to know more people that attended! Thanks again, Warren Doe

We just wanted to say thanks to the folks who put together a great party with pretty close to the perfect setup for the gathering of a bunch of 50-somethings. Everyone got right down to the business of reminiscing and picking up where they left off from the 35th. (Or from more recent get-togethers for some.) The conversation was as good or better than advertised. Paul Angelo and his excellent crew put out good food and his hospitality never stops amazing us. This website gets better each year. And it has to be if you consider that everyone in the country curious about their particular Class of 65 is going to Google this name or enter that web address and see our happy faces instead of their's. Thank you for a job well done. Steve and Kathy Pazniokas

Hats off to the organizers. Last night was one of the best reunions ever. I think it's because we saw so many faces that had been missing as of late. They did a great job tracking down the "lost boys and girls".
